Another day, another update for next Tuesday’s mayoral general election.
Democrats have built a small but steady lead in early voting (in person and returned ballots). With over 20,000 now cast (34.9% of the total votes cast in the April primary), here is how it currently breaks down by party affiliation:

For reference, during the first round, Democratic ballots made up 45.5% of all votes cast, Republican 42%, Non-Partisan 12%, Libertarian 0.5%. Incumbent Mayor Jean Stothert received 43.7% of the vote, Heath Mello 41.4%
