This race is looking very close. Vogel is the urban candidates, Reeves is the rural candidate. Looks like Davis hasn't been able to capitalize on the conflict between Vogel and Reeves. Vogel narrowly leads by 2%.
Polls are now closed.
Certainly the closer and nastier of the two Lieutenant Governor primaries, three candidates are battling it out. Jill Vogel and Bryce Reeves, both State Senators, have been at each other’s throats for much of the campaign, to the point that Reeves took Vogel to court over emails alleging Reeves was having an affair. A judge denied Reeves’ request to depose on Saturday. Staying mostly out of the fray has been State Delegate Glenn Davis, who has been driving around the state in an RV.
