The Ranks of Colorado’s Unaffiliated Voters Continue to Grow

We are keeping our eyes on voter registration statistics from every state documenting them by party. Yesterday, the Centennial State updated its latest figures, and while Democratic and Republican registration remains roughly where it was post-election, with your typical after-cycle drop offs, the number of voters registering as unaffiliated continues to climb. As of March 1st, active unaffiliated voters number 1,153,927, over 104,000 more than active Democrats and 109,000 more than active Republicans. While both major parties’ stats have remained relatively flat since January 1st, unaffiliated ranks have grown by over 10,000.
